FREERIDING
Climb to ski
With our "climb to ski" programme we want to appeal to skiers and snowboarders who like to climb up to 2 hours for a perfect powder line. Our mountain guides have been exploring the best runs in the Zillertal Alps for years. Steep channels, up to 2000 m long runs and rappelling points to get into untouched lines - it's perfect for very good skiers & snowboarders.
Freeride Level 1
You can easily ride on all slopes and want to make your first attempt in deep snow. Your guide will show you the best slopes in the ski area and where to find the best line for the descent. The necessary safety equipment and freeride skis/snowboard will ensure your day is perfect. Most freeride runs can be reached comfortably with lifts or with a climb of a few metres.
Freeride Level 2
You have already made your first downhill runs in deep snow and would like to improve your freeriding technique. But you also want to know more about the mountain and its dangers. Whether you snowboard or ski, your guide will show you the safest and most beautiful runs.
Freeride Level 3
You are a freerider and different types of snow and steep slopes do not cause you any problems. You want to make the most of your powder day with a guide as a reliable partner. Your mountain guide is a perfect local area expert who can show you the coolest and most beautiful runs in the Zillertal.
Freeride camp
The course is aimed at skiers and snowboarders who want to improve their freeriding technique. We will show you the right riding technique for different kinds of snow and the avalanche situation report. We will help you find the ideal line for your approach and tell you where you can find safe gathering points. The handling of emergency equipment for rescuing others is also important. Descents of up to 2000 Hm through a high alpine landscape of the Zillertal Alps are part of this unforgettable freeride camp.
Splitboard Camp
Our splitboard camp aims to address snowboarders who also like to climb for 2 hours for a perfect powder line. Slittingboarding with like-minded people in a small group, gives you the opportunity to experience snowboarding in a whole new way. Away from the normal freeride spots, you will find plenty of cool lines just waiting to be explored. First, however, we will show you how your splitboard works, so you can use it correctly on the mountain. The mountain guide is a snowboarder who will act as a risk manager and accompany you on your tours in the Zillertal Alps.
Across the Tux Alps
Across the Tux Alps is a freeride area crossing. Short climbs open up a whole new world of possible powder runs. This makes it all the more important to know the hidden slopes of the mountains precisely in order to filter out the best runs, adapted to the current snow and avalanche conditions. Your mountain guide ensures that nothing will get in the way of the fun.
The King Lines
These are the absolute best freeriding lines from the Hintertux Glacier. The King Lines are high alpine freeride tours that lead partly over glaciers, partly over exposed ridges into hidden valleys. You sometimes also have to overcome steep gullies by rappelling to get into unused slopes. Descents of up to 2000 Hm through a high alpine landscape of the Zillertal Alps are part of this unforgettable day.
