Natural ice palace
The natural ice palace on the Hintertux Glacier is a unique natural jewel worldwide and an ideal year-round destination for the whole family. Enjoy guided tours of the wonderful world deep under the ski slopes. Visitors explore a walk-in crevasse with magical ice stalactites, huge sparkling ice crystals, frozen waterfalls and even a glacier lake.
The natural ice palace has a constant temperature of 0 degrees 365 days a year. So warm clothes and sturdy shoes are needed for the tour; the tour is also easy to do in ski boots. The natural ice palace is open to fascinate both adult glacier fans and families with children over 8 years with its cool natural beauty.
